Volunteer to Support AFP

Volunteers are needed for many MANY activities.
    Among the most significant needs at this time are the following:

AFP Business Meeting Door Prize Donations:

One of the features of our monthly meetings is the award of Door Prizes. For future meetings, we'd love to accept your donations of books in good condition, gift certificates, or business products or promotional items. Please email Jane Duffy with your contribution.

Fundraising:

Now that the pace of our activities is picking up, we need solicit funds tp enable continuation of our meetings, events, publications and other ongoing activities. If you have expertise in this area and would like to help, please email Craig Walenga with your interest.

Recruiting:

Our committee leads are single handedly carrying a considerable burden. To ensure continued progress, our organization needs to step up and maintain recruiting of new members. If you would like to help, please email Dan Grossberg .

Event coordination:

We are continually looking for ideas for future events which can benefit the community. In addition, we are in need of volunteers to help in the production of events in progress. Please email Ed Amatetti if you can help us.

Lobbying:

If you’d be interested in developing a personal relationship with one of your elected representatives – in Annapolis, Montgomery County, or in Rockville, please join the team by reaching out to Christine Thron.

Research:

In support of our mission of providing thorough and reliable infomation on subjects related to current events in the community, we are in need of expertise in many diverse areas. These include; but, are not limited to: Government, Education, Finance, Law, Science & Technology, and Management Please email Bill Richbourg with your interest.
